Executive Leadership
Andy Chien is President & Co-Founder of Bridge33 Capital. Prior to Bridge33, Dr. Chien worked at Morgan Stanley in London. He initially spent time in the European real estate finance group originating large-balance commercial real estate loans. In 2008, he moved to the Investment Banking Division where he was engaged on mandates with British and European banks as well as the British Government. As part of these mandates, he advised banks on restructuring and divestments of their real estate portfolios. In aggregate, he worked on M&A and capital markets transactions totaling $80 Bn in consideration. Dr. Chien holds a Doctor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences, both from the University of Chicago.
Alex Banchero is Executive Vice President of Operations at Bridge33, responsible for asset management, leasing, and construction. Prior to Bridge33, he worked at Prologis, most recently as a Director in the Value Added Investment group, where he helped launch the Value Added platform across North America and was responsible for repositioning infill industrial assets in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Banchero holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Tech University.
Arshad Sultan is an integral member of our in house property management team, where Bridge33’s value-add strategy is defined by hard work and an aggressive approach towards decreasing expenses, increasing revenue, and continuously seeking new opportunities through deep relationships with tenants and vendors and a "pound the pavement" philosophy. Before joining Bridge33, Mr. Sultan worked at New York Life, where he managed variable and fixed-product service for U.S. operations. Mr. Sultan received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska.
Jeff Wright is the Senior Vice President of Leasing, overseeing and managing the Leasing Department at Bridge33. Mr. Wright has held senior level leasing and development positions previously with OnPoint Development, Kite Realty Group, and Thompson Thrift. As part of these positions, he provided structure, process, and team development. He has developed extensive market knowledge throughout the country along with deep national tenant relationships throughout his career.
Mr. Wright holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Indiana University.
Joel Staffilino is the Senior Vice President/Head of Investments at Bridge33. He is responsible for executing the Company’s investment strategy, under the direction of the CEO, by identifying and sourcing strategic retail real estate investment opportunities. Mr. Staffilino has 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining Bridge33, he served as Vice President of Acquisitions and Dispositions at Brixmor, and led acquisitions and transaction teams at Glimcher Group and Phillips Edison & Company. Over his career, he has driven the acquisition and disposition of over 22 million square feet of retail centers, representing over $3 billion in value.
Mr. Staffilino holds an MBA from Xavier University - Williams College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University.
Darryl Heslop is Senior Vice President, General Counsel at Bridge33 Capital. Before joining Bridge33, he worked at Brixmor Property Group, where he held multiple roles, the most recent being SVP, Associate General Counsel, and member of the Senior Leadership Team. As Head of the Transactions Legal Team, he was responsible for all legal aspects of acquisitions and dispositions and led over 100 transactions in excess of $2B. Prior to Brixmor, Darryl was Assistant General Counsel at Rouse Properties and an Associate at both International and Wall Street law firms.
Mr. Heslop holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Brown University, a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration on entrepreneurship from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. Additionally, he is a graduate of Middlesex School and the Summer Institute in Accountancy at Bentley College.
Laurie Paquette is the Senior Vice President of Property Management for Bridge33, where she is responsible for the direction and leadership of the property management staff. Ms Paquette comes to Bridge33 with strong roots in the commercial real estate sector, working with Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, Starwood Retail Partners and General Growth Properties. She has been instrumental in designing processes and procedures that streamlined business activities and provided strategic direction, thereby driving revenue and profitability. As an executive leader for Asset Management, she has managed multi-state portfolios totaling more than 29 million square feet of retail and office space. Ms Paquette hold a BA in Marketing from Concordia University.
Rudy Alberts is Vice President of Property Management for Bridge33, with primary responsibility for overseeing the company’s East Coast property operations. He comes to Bridge33 with decades of experience in Property Management, Asset Management, and Operations, having previously served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT). As a senior executive, Rudy has overseen more than 22 million square feet of retail space throughout the United States and has played a vital role in shaping and implementing strategies to drive revenue, growth, and profitability. Mr. Alberts received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
Nathan Al-Hwail is responsible for the Finance and Accounting functions at Bridge33, where he currently serves as the Senior Finance Director. He brings over a decade of experience in investment management, venture capital, private equity operations, and financial reporting. Before joining Bridge33, he started his career at Deloitte, providing audit and advisory services for private and public clients. Nathan then joined Vulcan’s Investment Management Finance Department, where he was responsible for reporting and operations for multiple investment funds.
Mr. Al-Hwail holds a Bachelor in Finance and Accounting from the University of Washington and is a Washington State Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Stephanie Benadof is Director of Human Resources for Bridge33. Prior to Bridge33, Ms. Benadof was responsible for leading the Human Resource division for The Hotel Group, an owner, operator, investor and developer of a national hotel portfolio across multiple states. Ms. Benadof served on the HR Committee for the American Hotel and Lodging Association, the largest national industry trade group and leading voice representing every segment of the hotel industry including major chains, REITS, owners, and management companies. Ms. Benadof is a strategic human resource leader with 25+ years of experience in executing and building effective HR functions. Ms. Benadof holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Scripps College and several Human Resource specific professional designations.

Douglas Abbey is a co-founder of IHP Capital Partners, a provider of equity to homebuilders and a developer of horizontal apartments. He previously co-founded two investment management organizations: AMB Property Corporation (merged with Prologis: NYSE), now the largest global industrial REIT, and Swift Real Estate Partners, a value-add office investor.
He is a past Global Board member of the Urban Land Institute, the past Chairman of the ULI Foundation and the Chair of the ULIF Capital Campaign: Our Cities: Our Future. He is an emeritus board member after serving 20 years of Bridge Housing, the leading non-profit affordable housing developer on the west coast. Mr. Abbey is a supporter of the Abbey Master in Real Estate Development + Design at UC Berkeley. He is also a Governor of the Nantucket Yacht Club. Since 2005, he has taught the real estate class at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Mr. Abbey holds a B.A. from Amherst College and an MCP from UC Berkeley.
George B. Huber is a Managing Partner of Finback Investment Partners, a Miami based private equity firm he Co-Founded with Governor Jeb Bush. Mr. Huber also is the Founder/Chairman of Equity Investment Group, a diversified real estate and investment company. He was the Co-Founder/Managing Partner of the real estate private equity firm Blue Vista Capital Management and Peak Campus, one of the country’s largest student housing companies. Mr. Huber serves as a Trustee for Vanderbilt University Board of Trust. He also currently or formerly served as a Board member or Advisor for numerous public and private real estate and finance/investment companies. Among his philanthropic endeavors, Mr. Huber is on the Board of Directors for New Story Charity, a nonprofit community-building innovation company with a mission to end world homelessness. Mr. Huber holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. with Honors from the University of Michigan.
Gayle Starr has had a distinguished career in real estate, including the past 27 years at Prologis/AMB where she was the Managing Director of Capital Markets and originated and oversaw debt for the company. During her tenure at Prologis, she closed over $38Bn in financings with over 70 lenders in 9 different currencies. Gayle is also a Global Governing Trustee for ULI and is on the Executive Committee of the Women’s Leadership Initiative of ULI.
Leshya Wig is currently the lead partner and managing director at Wig Properties, a Pacific Northwest owner, property manager, and developer of commercial real estate. She leads financing, acquisitions, development, leasing, and the company’s hotel portfolio. Most recently, Ms. Wig assembled 15.5 acres of land in the City of Bellevue, navigated a 7-year rezone approval process, and is currently designing and developing a 3.7M SF mixed-use development across from the light rail station on the acquired site. Ms. Wig holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts in both Economics and Psychology from Claremont McKenna College.
Jahan Moslehi is CEO & Co-Founder of Bridge33 Capital. Prior to Bridge33, Mr. Moslehi worked at Morgan Stanley in various capacities including marketing and distribution of Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), developing a business plan for trading distressed and small-balance commercial real estate loans, developing the firm’s securitization business in the Middle East and North Africa, and other roles within the CMBS and Fixed Income Management groups.
Mr. Moslehi holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from the University of Chicago.
